12のサブカテゴリと3のカテゴリ【治療や看護をめぐる対立】【入院生活での要求をめぐる対立】【病的確信や行動による対立】に区分され，それぞれ対立場面の広がりと対立の構造が明らかとなった。また，アンケートの記述情報から精神科経験年数10年未満と10年以上を比較検討した結果，《病棟の規則に対する不満》をテーマとする対立場面が10年未満に集中してみられ，明らかな偏りが確認された。\n本研究によって得られた対立場面の広がりは，対立場面を扱った和文献の事例研究11例およびWard (2003)
